Exclusive: Music director Arjun Janya to wear director’s hat

Arjun Janya is currently composing music for eight Kannada movies. Now, he has given his fans a surprise by revealing that he is directing a mass entertainer that will star actor Shivarajkumar.
Arjun shares that he wrote the story during the lockdown enforced due to the pandemic. He adds that even though he is taking up direction, he will ensure that composing doesn't take a backseat.“People may think that because I am becoming a director, my music committments may suffer. I expressed this to Shivarajkumar as well, as this story was written with him in mind, but he asked me not to give the story to someone else, and that I should direct it
myself. As of now, I plan to manage my time with the eight films I am composing music for along with planning this directorial venture,” he shares.

Arjun plans to launch the title and first look of this new film on Shivrajkumar's 60th birthday later this year.
